VILLA FANS MORE THAN HAPPY TO HAVE HEATON BACK

Whether for a short or long period, goodbyes are always hard. With the international break upon us, most club fans all around the world would be praying fervently to the football gods to spare their favourite stars from injury.

It is not every day that one however is told not to bother as the once departed star will be returning earlier than expected as he won’t be going in the first place.

With the news of Tom Heaton being withdrawn from the England squad for precautionary reasons, Aston Villa fans couldn’t be having a better Wednesday morning. Of course, they are proud countrymen but that does not come close for fans as far as choosing their club is concerned.

Even Hierocle’s circle places family before community for a reason. We are animals and for all the sophistry and sophistication going on in our world, little separates us from monkeys. We are just monkeys who can point stuff.

There’s also the point being made that Heaton would mostly likely warm the bench and one is tempted to ask if that is worth the risk at all.

Aston Villa having hard a rough start to the season finally got a dopamine boost by trashing Norwich City 5-1 away and with the match coming up against Brighton, having a complete unit to reattempt creating last week’s magic is of paramount interest to them.

After being a stable outfit in the English Premier League for years, watching their beloved team drown into the lower leagues of English football must have been a gut-wrenching experience for the Villa fans old enough to remember days when Ashley Young curled balls into the top right corner of opponent’s goal with reckless abandon.

They can’t wait to get back to it and the Three Lion’s welfare comes a distant second.
